I just installed a fuel presure gauge and had checked prices at other places on the web and locally and got the cheapest from genos and they have several styles to choose from.
Fuel pressure gauges are used to monitor the fuel pressure from the lift pumps, primarily on the 24V engines. There are a number of different ways to tap into the fuel system for the sender, it will depend on how you want to do it, and what model year you have.
Do a search for "FP gauge" or "Fuel Pressure gauge" and you should have more than enough reading.
You'll get the "tastes great-less fillling" debate on whether electric or mechanical is better.....
I would highly suggest calling Randy at Diesel Injection Service , they have excellent service and prices on ISSPRO and Autometer gauges.
Disclaimer: No affiliation with DIS, Autometer, or ISSPRO. I just think they're great companies to deal with.
My order finally got here from DIS. Haven't had a chance to get them installed yet. They have the best prices I could find. Had a mix-up with the dash mount but Randy helped get it staightened out. Wish all companies had such great customer service.
