I just bought a new 2500 ctd. Does adding gauges void my warrenty?

I was told no problem when I got my new vp44 at 36k. Now if you get a crack manifold where you drill it then you are probably out of luck but generally you are OK. #ad

From what my dealer told me is that gauges don't void your warranty, my dealer actually sells and installs them. I had them install mine just to make sure i didn't do anything to void my warranty. I was real surprised because they didn't charge me a arm and a leg to do it, and the install looked great!Oo.

It was around 150 to have them installed, for the gauge pod and gauges i think it was a little over 400. My guages were a little more expansive than most because i bought the new autometer lunar series and to this day they are way expensive. I ordered them from summit racing, The grennish glow matches our trucks guage cluster glow I have boost egt, and transmission temp, i know it is a 6spd but it is still nice to have.

I thought one was LP pressure too?



you have 2 gauges = $550



I would hate to think what 3 would run if you added the LP pressure...

You should be able to buy boost/pyro/trans temp and an a-pillar pod for under $400.



I have only seen one guy (and it wasn't a diesel) put a gauge in for LPG pressure. We had to order a 400psi pressure gauge.

How can you pay someone $150 to install gauges?? It is the easiest thing in the world!! Maybe I should start up a shop here, and take people to the cleaners doing stuff like that. . I cant justify $150 in labor to install 2 or 3 gauges... Come on y'all. . I am sure the Ford guys are laughing at that one!

It took about 6 hours for me to install mine. Maybe his 6 hours are more valuable than $150?

Heck yea... . I'd pay someone $150 to install mine in a heartbeat. I've never done it before and I'm not much of a mechanic to say the least. Anyone in my area wanna install mine, just let me know!
