If your balls to the wall on getting a tune for your ECO Diesel, you better act NOW. Personally you shouldn't need a tune unless you delete. But if you just want it to run better, thats good as well. Just remember you become your own warranty station. Once EPA gets ahold of SFT, they will be gone as well, and leave you with a tune and no support, but at least you have the tune. Hope it works out for you.

In regards to EFIlive, you still have the tuner and can still do whatever you want. No you don't have someone else (tuner) to help or support. That's too bad. I do all my own tuning, you can to. Only got support once for my original tune. Modified myself at least 100 times since. As for GDE, that's different because there no way for end user to tune. Must be bench tuned. Therefore, as of now, there is nothing to do but run GDE as is, no support at all. If you have no spare ECM, you can never visit dealer again and keep your tune. I bought spare ecm for this exact reason. There will always be a work around if you want it. We already have a Canadian company to fill in for GDE. There were European companies before GDE. The L5P was "uncrackable" but there are already ways to tune out there. Quite frankly, I'm surprised this is all happening in the current administration. I guess this is left over stuff from previous administration and some people at EPA justifying there jobs.
