Well, got rid of the 4. 10's today and had a set of 3. 54's installed. WOW, big difference in the truck. Still accelerates hard and gets up to speed faster than before. Now we'll see what the milage does(if I can keep my foot out of it for a tank of fuel

) Won't pull the trailer for a month or so , will have to see how that goes.
The rebuilder also checked the clutch pack in the limited slip and found them to be completly shot so had these replaced as well.
I asked the rebuilder about synthetic gear lube and he surprised me when he said he considered it a waste of money. He seems to think changing the fluid every 25K will head off any problems. Think I'll run the fluid he put in for a few months and then replace with synthetic. Any comments on this? ( I know, there are lots of posts about this and thats why I'll change out)
