I have an 05 with 35 inch tires. I am putting ARB lockers in for the deep snow I encounter. Is it worth spending an extra $2000 to change my gearing from 3. 73 to 4. 10's to bring my ratio back to factory?

Not at all. I've been running 37s and 3. 73s for a few years with no complaints. These engines have plenty of grunt to pull you along!

No, I run 35's also. Still plenty of power. I had the side benefit of the bigger tires putting the truck in a different RPM range and taking away the drone of the exhaust system at the speeds I was running back and forth to work.

If you like driving a snappy truck, the 35's with 4. 10s are great. A lil more noise above 70 but as a daily driver used in a variety of speeds it will be more fun to drive.

I am very happy with my 4. 10s

4:10 are my preferred gearing... and Cummins. . I won't Buy Cummins and 3:73. We are either pulling or city driving. . Now if I HWY drive often I might think about 3:73. .
