If it is for NV 4500 tnans. ,USE MOPAR OIL 0NLY, Otherwise you run the risk of trans. The oil is a special blend almost like autotrany fluid. For the Dana diff. ,I run Amsoil 75-90 syn. I used up four NV 4500`s in 98. 5 in 400000mi, first one because of wrong oil when I changed it at 25000mi.

I have been running Royal Purple in my NV4500 and the rear end since new without any problems. I have 75-90 in the transmission and 75-140 in the rear with change intervals every year which is about 25k miles. Currently have over 260k miles and everything runs great.
 
I used to use Amsoil in my 99. But I don't exactly remember the type or weight. I still have some somewhere I think. I do remember it was blue. :) Seemed to work great for a few years until I sold it.
