2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Gear oil with a Detroit Locker

Im installing a detroit locker and 4. 10's tonight and i was wondering if what oils yall run if you have a locker? Thanks

Nothing special is required for the Detroit Locker. Use the standard spec oil for your truck.

I'm running Redline synthetic in my Detroit locked D44 on my Jeep. Fred's right though, no friction modifier or any kind of special lube required for the Detroit. You can pretty much use and kind of gear oil you choose, but if you tow a lot or put a lot of harsh use on it, I'd go for the synthetic.
