gear ratio with 33 inch tires

I currently have a 1993 CTD 4x4 with 3. 55 gears and a Getrag, and would like to upgrade to either 33 or 35 inch tires. The pump has been turned up to 1. 45 mm and you can still put your fingers between the pump and the block. I just got another letter from the smog cops about black smoke.



Anyway, I need some advice as to how deep I need to go on the gears for either 33s or 35s. For gas trucks, they run 4. 10 gears with 35s.

Keep your gears as they are. I hadc 33 inch od tires and 3. 55 gears. Never a problem. Had black smoke when I was into it a bit but I could drive light footed and have clean exhaust.
