Has anybody changed from 4. 10 to 3. 54 gears? Where is the cheapest place to buy the ring and pinions?

I have a 98' 12 valve auto with Dana 70 LSD 4:10 gears I would like to swap for 3:54 LSD.



And I have a 94' 5spd Dana 80 open diff. 3:54 that I would like to swap to a 3:54 LSD.

I have been working on this swap for my 97 3500 2wd for a little while. The best place I have found was Randy's Ring and Pinion out of Nashville, Tn. For my 2 wd setup it would cost me $410 approx. and that included EVERYTHING that would have to be replaced yolk, gears, so on and so on. I had called lots of different places and they were the best price and guaranteed that I would not need anything beyond what they send in the box. I have not done it yet ($$ is really tight right now) but when I can that is who I am going to go through.
