Symptoms of plugged air filter?

Hello all,

Just picked up my first diesel, a 2004. 5 3500 and I must say I am hooked. But never really being involved with diesels outside of the Army, I really don't have a "feel" for what a decent hot idle oil pressure should be for one of these items that has 63000 on the odometer. I have dyno oil in Valvoline 15W-40 and am slowly getting all the fluids swapped out for Amsoil (the brand that has treated me so well with all my gas rides).

Any opinion would be appreciated.

As long as the guage shows oil pressure, you're good to go. The guage is really a fake guage. It gets its signal from the ECM, not from a pressure sensor/sending unit. If you really want to know what your pressures are, install manual guages. First one should be a fuel pressure guage.
