Well I have been doing this for yeras and never thought of shouting it out.
Take a 5 gallon bucket with a lid ... . Drill a bunch of ¼ inch holes a ¼ inch apart arround the circular rings on the lid in the innermost 2 rings and re install the lid. When you change filters just sit the old filter ontop of the lid up side down and leave it there until the next oil change. By then the old filter will be completely empty and you can then toss it.
Sounds silly but just wanted to send that one off to ya.
