I bought a cup holder for my 03 and added it to my upper console as I have a stick and it was awkward to reach down for my water bottle. I also needed a place to mount some switches so this is what I did:

The green one is for driving lights, the yellow one for the aux fuel tank switch, the red one is for reverse lights and the momentary one is for my air horn. :-laf The gauge is for the box mounted aux fuel tank. I have since added some rubber tubing around the gauge holder so when I put it in rev I don't scratch my stick. An enclosed gauge pod would have been to heavy for the plastic cup holder. I cut a 3" piece of 2" black rad hose and mounted it over the back of the gauge to make it look better. I ran a seven wire trailer cord along the side of the console , so I could still open the lid, and then drilled a 5/8 hole in the lower factory cup holder and ran the cord up to the dash under the steering wheel. My buddy is great at wiring so he mounted a bank of circuit breaker on the right side of the dash opening and a bank of circuit breakers on the left side. I still have to tidy up the wires. It was a busy weekend. Shad
