<font color=blue>Thursday I installed the Geno's Exhaust blanket. Today was the first time I got to get out and see what it has done. It has definately queited the inside noise. I had a shooter buddy with me today and he brought that up.
The turbo does spin up faster maybe even at a lower RPM slightly.
The under hood temp is alot lower.

It does take alittle longer to cool down so I had to idle alittle longer tonight upon arriving home. But I found that it is neat to get out and stand back and listen to that sweep exhaust. <marquee> #ad

Drawson,
Does Geono's get that from ATPWrap? I got mine from there and there is a big difference. And the owner is great. I'm adding the manifold cover next which is supposed to be another big help.
And good for you on NRA. I'm a life member.

Craig, what is this ATPWrap? I never heard of it, but am interested. Where do I find it, and a price?
Thanks, Larry

The Geno's Garage exhaust manifold/turbo blanket is made for them by Hitco.

I've had mine on for six to eight months or so and still really like it. In addition to reducing underhood temps. it was immediately apparent upon the first start up after installation that it reduced underhood noise as well. A very high quality product at a fair price. #ad

Yogibear,
Follow the links from atpwrap.com to the dodge site. I have not compared with Geno's which is why I was curious.

If for NO OTHER reason...
It looks better than the rusty exhaust manifold and turbo housing!!!

I thought I was NUTS when I first took a ride with Geno's Blanket installed.

The spool up did indeed seem faster.

I've seen these blankets installed inside aircraft cowlings around exhaust
Manifolds
That's why the name on the blanket looked familiar to me.

If it's on the plane I burn holes in the sky with. . it's good enough for a land bound truck!!!!!

No performance claims... but I LOVE MINE!!!

I bought Geno`s exhaust blanket a few years ago. Took it off to drill my exhaust manifold for pyro gauge.

Didn`t bother putting it back on. Figured it didn`t really do much.

WRONG. It was back on the next weekend. Couldn`t believe the heat build up under the hood with it off. Truck quietier with it on too. Turbo seems to spool up quicker too.

Its stayin on #ad

I have the ATP wrap and love it> It really reduces the in cab as well as the outside noise. It is a little expensive but worth it from my wifes view.

It sounds like you all hear the turbo spool up quicker because the wrap is acting as a low frequency (engine noise) sound deadening device... while the high frequencies (turbo whistle) are still getting through. Similar to how you can still hear people talking while wearing "ears" at the shooting range.

Say Rammers,
How's the install? I have bad back and hate bending too much. Is it easy? Are the instructions good? Thanks guys and remember to keep the RAM a sacred animal!
