Does anyone have the filter kit from Genos for the NV5600? Is it worth it? I'm planning on changing my fluid soon and wanna order one if its worth it.

I had read earlier user reports, and seen pics of the garbage trapped and held by those filters, so bought and installed one of my own - looks like this on my transmission, with an added heatsink:

No actual results so far, since not enough miles to change the oil - but the idea and design SHOULD be a plus, and they ain't making any more NV-5600's - and not an excess of parts floating around, either! ;)

Does it increase the fluid capacity at all? Do I need to get more than 6qts. ? I was planning on doing the 6qt. overfill.

Well, I just ordered all the stuff to do it. While I'm at it, has anyone else ever added a drain plug to their 5600? I know I spoke to a gentleman on here about a year ago who did it to his, but I can't remember his name. He has a red 12v, hauls travel trailers for a big name camper company. Just wondered if anyone else besides him has done this. I'm planning on measuring 9 5/8" back from where the clutch housing meets the transmission and drilling and tapping a hole in the center of the transmission, then using a magnetic drain plug from a eaton rear out of a Mack truck.
