Genos Fuel Filter Replacement cap Question....

Hello! I just got my Replacement fuel filter cap from Genos. It came with the plug REMOVED..... would you suggest I just Screw it in tightly or use some sort of thread locker. I am not going to be using a fuel pressure guage. . I assume thats why it is already tapped? Would it gurt to not have a plug on the filter side of the cap as well? THanks!!

I would use pipe dope or teflon tape on that little plug, just to be safe

don't use white teflon tape. Diesel dissolves it. Need to use yellow but be careful of getting any in fuel system, can damage fuel injection pump. Diesel rated pipe dope is safer.

No need to use any sealer it will seal just fine. Do not try to add a plug on the filter side it is threaded from the outside,it is a tapered thread.
