“got diesel?” has been gracing Geno’s Garage t-shirts for more years than they can count now (since before their first Holiday Project in 2003). They sell a t-shirt here and there, mostly for fun. But come the holidays, Geno’s Garage sells them for a purpose. Well, they did sell them for a purpose. They can no longer produce their ever-popular t-shirts unless they agree to print a competitor’s names under the logo. Say what? <br/><br/>In August, 2006, the folks at a competing company went to the trouble and expense of registering “got diesel?” as their trademark. Geno's Garage staff could not come up with a reason for their decision to do that. Now they know why. They have been given notice to either: <br/><br/>a. Stop marketing their “got diesel?” t-shirts, or <br/>b. Start printing “Registered Trademark of Dieselsite” on the shirts they do manufacture and sell. <br/><br/>After much consideration, Geno's Garage has decided to retire their "got diesel?" t-shirts rather than promote a competitor.<br/><br/>So, it is time to put your creative pens to work. Post your best new t-shirt idea by June 15, 2010. Geno's Garage will pick a winner by June 30 and get those new t-shirts into production. <br/><br/>Winner gets 10 of the new t-shirts, a $250 gift certificate to Geno’s Garage and Geno’s Garage will renew your subscription to the Turbo Diesel Register for three years.
