Geno's Green Fuel cap - drill hole?

I've would have done a search, but that is disabled until they can get whatever is needed done... anyway. Last night I put my Green Fuel cap on the truck and the factory one has that little attachment going to it. I pulled it out of the factory one, but the Geno's Green fuel cap doesn't have that hole available. Can this be drilled out or not?
