Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Genos isspro fuel guage questions

Got my fuel gauge kit from genos today and have some questions and need help please . lahf line when you hook to vp44 due you cycle switch to see if there are leaks with out the other end hooked up. Or due you hook to the isolator then due the bleeding process. also it says to fill isolator with coolant would that be antifreeze??? is all this bleeding need to be done thanks for the help andy
