I got one from the dealer. With my discount I believe it was cheaper then Geno's. Remember, a lock is only to keep honest people honest. I like the flap door that you release from inside the vehicle, but even those can get pried open.

I purchased the locking fuel door from Geno's about a year ago. A little expensive but looks great and again, ( keeps the honest guy... )

I have the locking cap and would say for the little money, it's worth a try. It can be removed w/o the key fairly easily if it's turned just right, but might slow a fuel thief down at least.

Hey, Miner, I got interested in that lockin' fuel door, but it looked like all that they'd havta do is remove them screws to git in there--am I missing somethin' there?

I ended up buying the locking cap, but I wish they'd offered it in the dsl green color...

Doesn't the rollover ball in the filler hose make siphoning fuel next to impossible through the filler? My guess is if they want to steal fuel a sharp tool through the bottom of the tank would do it faster...

I would rather find a hole in the bottom of my tank than not find that someone dumped sugar in the tank until to late. At least if you see that the cap has damage you would know not to start the truck.

The rollover valve (P/N 52127666) is on the fuel module and not in the filler hose.

Well, there's something in the filler that prevents you from sliding a hose down it. I had one heck of a time draining the tank when I had to drop it to replace the brake line.
