I just got the geno's LP relocation kit... what pointers do you all have on the install? My truck is a quad cab, short bed. I read somewhere on here that I should blow compressed air into the fuel line... . but I'm not exactly clear on how to do that. Is that just to push the fuel back into the tank? Any tips are appreciated.

just did the install - take the lines loose of the LP on the block and then use compressed air to blow the feed line so that the fuel gets pushed back into the tank, doesn't take much pressure... .

I ended up mounting mine in front of the transmission crossmember and I only used a single bolt (the one that held the fuel lines in place). Hardest part of the whole job was cutting the stainless fuel line... .

Good Luck,

okay... thanks. how much steel line did you leave coming from the tank? What is this I read about looping the fuel line so it doesn't kink? Did you do that too?

I saw the pics and loops after I was done. I cut the fuel line about 4 inches in front of the tank. I like my install as my understanding is we are trying to get the pump as close to the tank as possible so the pump can push rather than pull the fuel. So I figure straight fuel line beats the loop, but to each his own. I do like the cool blue fuel lines with the extra fuel filter...

Good Luck!
