Hi all, has any one used the rotochok's from Geno's, do they work well or does any body else make something like them for the same money, please tell me good and bad experience's with them. Thank's Don

Have been using them for the last 3 years. Great product, and well made. You won't be dissapointed. The stainless steel adjuster rod doesn't hurt either.

I use them and really like them. Totally eliminated the fore and aft movement of my 25 ft travel trailer. Go to the rotochok site at www.rotochok.com/ . Give them a call and they will be glad to give you any info you want. The gal that you will talk to is really talkative, so be ready for a chatty visit. Haven't heard of anybody that doesn't like them over on the Open Roads forum at http://www.rv.net/forum/ .

I was looking at them for my car trailer, I have to park it on a slight slope in the lower driveway, with the Jeep on it. I wanted something a little more secure than the normal ones that sit on the ground...

Got mine at an RV ralley. Great product. MEASURE the distance between the tires so you can tell the sales person.

I measured and tried the size from the chart and had to go back and swap for a smaller size.

Work GREAT though!

My experience and $. 02. The best I have used is the BAL Deluxe Locking Chock that fits between the tandem wheels & is opened/closed with a rachet wrench. When I purchased our Arctic Fox 29. 5T I found that the wheels were too close (<2-1/2") to use the BAL. I therefore purchased some the Herndon Wheel Locks, they are ackward to adjust and a PIA. I then purchased the RotoChock #2 small. They fit well and hold OK. Occasionally they require re-adjustment, it seems as if the suspension settles and the wheels move further apart. They can be difficult to remove and occasionally I must use the physical force to remove one of the wedges.

Bottom line I prefer the BAL but the RotoChocks work fine.

Jim, Thank's for the reply, were did you get the bal delux chock set-up and are they inline with the one's from Geno's price wise? Don

My experience with the BAL Delux Chocks wasn't as positive as JDs. No matter how tight you got them they could slip, but there still wasn't any danger of the trailer rolling away. They also rusted, something the Roto Chocks shouldn't do. After using the BALs for about 2 1/2 - 3 years I gave them away and bought some Roto Chocks. They both cost about the same, for the money I like the quality and stability of the Roto Chocks better. I unerstand that Newmar uses them on their assembly line to stabalize their trailers as they are being built.

I got them from Camping World. Current catalog (P/N#11109) lists them at $54. 99 (club price) and you need two.
