View attachment 127424 I installed the driver's seat bottom parts from Geno's today. Easy install, nice quality. Now I can see how dingy the rest of my 21 year old upholstery is!
I had to move the seat forward a notch because the new cushion made the seat higher enough that I couldn't mat the clutch. (I'm a short guy) Not a complaint, just will take some getting used to.
Also added their Ultimat dash cover. Hate to cover my brand new Mopar dash, but I want it to last.

I rugged my old 2nd gen from new and never had a cracked dash. Same with my '07 from birth.

'94-'97 dashes weren't nearly as prone to cracking as the '98-'02's. Whatever material they went to in '98 is the problem. The 3rd Gen dashes don't break up like the '98-'02's either.

Both of mine are 96’s. The 2wd was garaged the first 15 years and only had one crack when I got it in 2018. I park outdoors and now it’s getting worse quickly. The green 4x4 was a GA Farm truck and never garaged. When I got it there was no dash left to speak of. I think the dashes are made of powdered sugar and happy thoughts. I work on trucks, and their Freightliner sisters have the same issues. Every time you touch any interior plastics you break something.

I had a mat from day 1 and garaged. Didn't help a bit. Lowest bidder got the contract.

Honestly, everything but the engine, transmission and axles on these trucks is cheap junk.
