Geno's Trans Filter Kit

Can anyone tell me how a filter under a PTO plate can filter the trans fluid? The photo in the catalog shows the Filter,2 Gaskets and a Magnet. What runs the fluid through the filter on a 6 speed trans. I must be missing something.

Filtration...

Oil is splashed on top of the filter media and drains back by gravity. Nothing fancy and nothing mechanical.

Thanks for the answer. I got tickled to see a 2 line answer and a 23 line signature. Why not post a photo of your truck? It sounds pretty nice.
