I bought a drain plug for my trans pan from Genos a good while back. I would suggest that anyone else who buys one discard the nylon (or maybe teflon) sealing washers and replace them with copper brake or banjo bolt washers as the nylon jobbies crawl out
. I cannot understand why in the world they cannot make a spin on filter and drain plug factory spec. on vehicles. You would think after they get the things in production and standardized it would be cheap. The only thing I can guess is what an engineer told me about one of my complaints one time is that they design stuff to last forever and then sales tells them to cheapen them up so they can sell it.
