I just ordered one of these. Does anyone have experiance with them? I'm five foot seven, and my truck is like seven foot five :) I can't scrape the windshield without a step ladder. (Get's kind of embassing at work..... little guy with a big truck... .compensating for something?????) I'm hoping this will take care of the scraping issue for me.

But, as I've stated in multiple posts, I'm not mechanically inclined, do you guys think I can install one of these without breaking my truck, or my precious fingers?

It says it heats the Washer Fluid to 170 degrees... . seems like a good thing to me. If it works well, I'll surprise my wife, and put one on her Durango.

Thanks!

Chris

heater

I just rec'd mine from genos, going to let dealer install. I don't think it will melt inches of snow off windsheild, only ice. I'm 5'9 with a 3500 4x4 and I have trouble cleaning winsheild. I carry a broom and long handled scraper.

Also lowered my my Comp dedductable to 50. 00 in case this cracks the windsheild. Steve

Broom

I think I'll take that suggestion, and put a push broom in the back of the truck, to get the snow off of the hood and roof as well. I might even put a step stool in the back, just to assist in the scraping. The windshield is so damn big. My truck doesn't even fit in my garage, so there will be no relief save the car wash :(

thanks, let me know what your dealer charges to install it.

I just open my door up, climb onto the drip edge, hold the oh-shi! handle and scrape or wash away. Rinse, and repeat on the passenger side.
