Got to sing the praises of Genos again. Ordered the billet filter cap as well as the carpet dash cover to cover all the cracks and holes. Thanks Dodge for that one. Robin at Genos was just as nice and sweet as she could be and was very helpful. Glad to see customer service at its best. :D

That is one company that deserves all the praise it gets. They are a model of what all companies should be.

Yep, I couldn't agree more. There was a mix up with my order and Robin called me right up and we strightened everything out and now I'm not getting charged shipping and handling for the mix up, no biggie to me, but they are great people.

I will be calling again later in the week for a new fuel pressure guage. Dang isolator on my current one went south and as a result the guage would go to max and stay there which bent the internals. Has not worked right since and it looks like a new isolator will be needed every year since the last one lasted that long. Robin may get tired of hearing from me this week, lol. Oh and if ya let her she will talk your arm off which is alot better than taking your order and saying thanks, bye. Really enjoyed dealing with her.

By the way for those that still have the OEM plastic cap, not only will they break trying to get them off by using a 1/2in extension in the center they will also break in real cold temps, mine did last year. I was in Red River and the temp went down to around -3* the first night and when I started the truck in the morning it ran for a minute then died. Popped the hood and fuel was running out of the cap, it cracked over night. Had to wait on UPS then had even more fun getting the dang thing out. Had to go with another OEM just to get home. No chances this time being I am going to Wolf Creek Co in Mar. and I don't want anymore cracking.

The only problem I have with Geno's is that they carry the item after I bought it some where else. The first time this happened they did not carry the Mag-Hytec front cover so I bought it directly from Mag-Hytec. The next issue of TDR came out and there it was. This has happened to me three times now on various things. I would prefer to buy from them exclusively. U cannot beat there customer service. Robin and the whole gang there R fantastic.

Yup Robin's an angel and Geno's is a great place to deal with.

I've only dealt with someone other than Robin once or twice in the 6 years of buying from them, and that gent was just as good.

Their filter kits are a great savings for me. . no deals at all around here for the filters.

Ditto on the great service & IMO. . a very cool deal. I got my Westach combo gauge & pod/pillar, and seeing that it was so nice out today, I did the install. Great instructions, and sure is handy having everything included.

Two things about the new pillar handle. One- it doesnt have the piece of trim that goes up against the windshield, and the other being that it doesnt have enough room for the black plastic gauge retainer to go down between the gauge & pillar on one side.

Now I just gotta learn to watch the road and not the gauge while driving. Kudos to Genos.

I got to throw my 2 cents in on this one. From gauges, filter kits, vulcan relocation, ect. They have always got every order to the detail, and when I'm either laying over the fender or sprawled out under the truck not sure if I'm doing something right they are there on the phone helping me. (and I need alot)

It is good to know that what they are selling is what they have proven to be the best they can find to sell.

So far my only complaint is the WigiDigit Block Heater Bumper Plug. The little cap broke off about a week or so after installation. I guess it was never designed to be used in really cold weather.

The only product I purchased from Genos that I didn't like was the windshield cowl vent filter.

I didn't send them back, because I spent soo much time with them, determined to make them work. . I felt too much time had passed.

The fit was very poor - the hood wouldn't close right, cause the plastic pieces wouldn't line up right, the best I could line them up, would cause a section to want to lift, and cause problems on the plastic cowl. Due clearance issues and poor fitting, of the plastic piece that holds the filter in place, I had to put tape on the edge of the hood so it wouldn't rub the paint off.

And because it left the areas around the windshield wipers shafts open, lots of pollen still came in. It was a huge waste.

The right way to adapt a filter to the cowl, is to replace the entire plastic cowl with one that has built in filters and does something about the leakage points that circumvent the filters.

And due to the poor fit and forcing them into place, they pulle on the cowling, and after a month I noticed the cowling lifting and I lost a couple of those pushplug retainers that are used to hold the cowling in to the body, the popped out. I replaced them and it happened again. Finally got feed up with the fit and uselessness of it all, and removed them. Cowl stopped throwing it's retainers after that.

But let me tell you one thing about that little sweet, loveable Robin. Just cross her one time, and her nose grows longer, the eyes turn red, steam seeps from her ears, she grows a long, red, pointed tail, and from somewhere she finds a pitch fork with which she will wear you out. And how do I know?

All joking aside, Robin has never been anything but straight up with me. And Brandon, good people. .

. . Preston. .

99% of the time I've worked with Robin, but I have delt with a few others.

Everyone there has been nothing but helpfull and great.

Can only agree have been completely satisfied dealling with Geno's and the one problem I had was with the part and She gave me a phone number I needed to call and they was very supportive. All Positive from me.

SHobbs, how do you like the carpet dash cover? Mine has a few cracks as well but they aren't that noticeable yet. I wanted to get the lt. gray one to match my floors but didn't want something that looked cheap or goofy.
