I know the mad's site talks of HP gains. but I know every truck from stock to bombed is going to be different. now with the REVO update trying to find out what my truck would most likely be putting down on rollers with the REVO now loaded. I have been playing around with differant settings for a few months with the smarty and TST and still cant make my mind up on what is making the most power. anyone running the same set up as my truck. have any before and after dyno's on previous smarty and now REVO settings.....

i'm pretty convined the Smarty doesn't help much with power, I gained ~10hp with the Smarty/Drag Comp versus te Comp alone. I think it fueled harde down in the low rpms, maybe allowed more boost on top... ?

I LOVE the adjustability of the REVO software. It allowed me to find a setting with my Mach3s and B1-2 that I can use my cruise control on the freeway! Uphill, downhill, flat I can now commute in peace. Now, I am trying to decide which fuel only box to get for play time!

Without tapping the wire or installing larger injectors, there is only 60-70 HP to be gained with any box. As far as I'm concerned, Smarty is about throttle response.

i am running the revo my baseline or stock without taking parts off was 345hp smarty on #5 was 456hp and #9 was 515hp and this with a stock fuel system. so smarty does deliver what it says it will and still get better MPGS.

Im sorry the info on MADS site is very vague at best. I know its better throttle response and fuels earlier and harder on the TQ earlier. but looking at old theads there was all talk about the smarty adding 50hp some saying they got 70hp. I know the with a better fueling system Injectors, Turbo and fuel box with this is a great package. I just cant believe that when I turn my smarty off and just run TST and mach 4's my truck feels like a dog. put the smarty back on and it seems to at least feel like I'm adding at least 50-60 HP but that is just that were are the DYNO sheets on this. Im sure someone has done the homework on this. I thought I saw a comment from Bob Wagner that it would add 70HP. not for sure just thought I read that. hell I dont even know what my truck is even putting down for power with what I have. to base it.

talking about REVO for the 2nd Gens. big difference on the smarty with our VP-44 and your 3rd Gen cp-3.

From memory, one of the things about the power Smarty adds is that it won't necessarily occur at the peak. In the FAQ, Marco says about 60 hp(stock truck) to the wheels but I think that occurs by bringing the power on sooner, not necessarily by bringing up the peak...

I don't have the dyno sheets but a few years ago, we tried a few things on my brothers truck. At the time he had a TST Comp, Mach6's and a SP66 on a Stock H. O. pump... If I remember correctly, adding the Smarty gave around a 30hp gain to the peak which was 5 of 6 hp more than an Edge EZ gave at the peak... that's not very scientific doing one run with the EZ, unplugging it and then downloading Smarty but it was what it was.

It definitely is about improved driveability. I have an HRVP, Mach 5's, TST Comp, TS MVP and Twins and the truck did feel completely different going from SW#4 to SW#2(non-Catcher)... never dynoed but the SOP dyno told me to reload a Catcher SW to regain the daily driving throttle response... this actually occurred this week.

I'm sure that it's really just a mental condition though. I can't even remember what this hoss felt like stock... .

yes know what you mean no smarty and with TST turned off and just with my sticks my truck feels like a turd. and I remember though when I put my first box on it when it was stock a (EZ) and I thought HOlly $%&# its a rapped ape running around. and now I dont think I will ever be able to drive my truck without my SMARTY. (mental condition) my wife always asks me will your truck ever not smoke. :-{} and I say yes it will not smoke when its parked.

never dynoed with what I have on my truck so no Queen here. but SOP for the smarty is the best:-laf..... I guess my truck puts out some where around 500ish HP. maybe more. I guess your right who cares what it puts out. seems no one actually knows.
