Getrag 360

Having my Getrag 360 rebuilt today is Mobil 1 10-30 ok to use. I will be putting in 4 1/2 qts. I have 174K on it nothing has broke but is very loud.

I believe the recommended oil is 5w-30w. Some folks use other weights. The top bolt hole in the PTO cover (passenger side) works very well to add the overfill qt.

My manual says to use 5W30 synthetic, so I use Mobil 1 5W30. The general concensus around here seems to be to overfill by a quart. Mine takes 5 quarts to do that. Maybe you could have the installer fill 'er through the shifter hole while it's apart.
