I just opened up a getrag to change oil in it, and the oil came out a nice metalic silver. The oil is nonmagnetic, so its alumnium. Where in a getrag can that much alumnium grind off of and it still drive fine. The main bearings are still tight somehow. Any ideas on what might be wrong?

The shift forks are aluminum and can produce a significant amount of silver. They won't do this if there is not some other problem. You will have to tear it down to find what is wrong and to repair the damage. There is a good chance that all the bearings have taken some damage, including the speed bearings on the main shaft. Not to rain on your parade, but you got trouble big time.

good one.

Another cause of this is if you ride with your hand on the shifter all the time. If you have that much metal, I am surprised that you don't have a problem with it jumping out of gear.

Well, it dont pop out of gear, but 4th is close, If it had more than 160hp, it might twist off the edge of the shift collar.
