Getting a build sheet

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to buy a 2005 3500 from a used (non Chrysler) dealer and I want to get a build sheet for it. Can any Dodge dealer run the VIN# and print out a build sheet for the truck?

yes, any dealer can run it for you.

You can only get the original window sticker from the dealer that sold it new. Any dodge dealer can get you a print out of what is on the truck and any repairs that was done at any of the dealers.

Thanks for the replies. Went down to my local dealer today and got the build sheet from the parts department.

No, he just ran the last 8 of the VIN, printed it out and handed it to me.

Funny you bring this up. I have my build sheet for my truck and it is in spanish/english. Which makes sense. It was in the footwell of the truck after it came off the carrier. I wish I could get one for my mustang.
