My goal is to get in the 12's and keep it a daily driver. I am getting ready to put in a new clutch a SBC 13. 25 Con FE. I want to go with a single turbo like a PS62 w/ a 14cm housing or equavalent turbo. I would like twins but the price is keeping me away. Unless I could make a twin setup that would work. For injector I have been looking at upgrading to Mach 5's. And throwing in a Special Mad Catcher for the bottom end.

Do you think a setup like this will do it (12's)? I am thinking the hp will be around 550 or so. And if anyone has a similar setup like this, I would like to know their opinion on how they like it.

Thanks, Daniel

Go with the Mach 6's and Phat Shaft 64. This should yeild between 575-600 RWHP, the only problem from there is going to be rowing the gears. You are probably going to want to put in the larger input shaft as well.

Good luck trying to launch hard with that clutch, then have fun shifting. Been there, done that. I when to an auto and shaved . 5 seconds over a dual disc doing 3rd gear launches in 4wd. You will also need slicks for the 2wd.

I knew that it being a standard would hurt it a lot. I really don't want to go with the dual disk clutch. What horsepower and times do y'all think it would run with that setup?

I see you smokin the FE clutch... I like the con FE but it will slip with that kind of power and fast shifts.

I was wondering that to. And I want this clutch to last longer than my last one which was only 9 months.

I'm at 516rwhp and 1022 tq off of nitrous and with my daily driver setup, I run a 14. 7 @ 106MPH.

The key to getting a short time is traction, and launch,, The goal is to get the lowest 60' possible, anyway possible. Slicks, weight reduction, boosted launches, powershifts, nitrous off the line.
