Scotty II vs. AFE Megacannon

Ok OK - I'm not really cheap but it really tick's me off when folks don't get the last drop of oil out when they throw away the bottles on a change. I made this little setup that works with gallon as well as quarts. I just changed the oil on my wife's Subaru - and it does well on the quarts. (I'm not using Mobile 1 in my ISB). I let them drain sometimes overnight. But usually an hour or two no set time, I just rotate when I get a chance - and boy do I get the last drop - and if you think she doesn't add up - you're dead wrong.

Way to go;

Good idea, I usually invert the quarts into a gallon jug with a larger opening, yours looks a lot cleaner and more stable !!

I agree it's best to get all the oil out of the containers. I've done the same thing as you. Then when I burn the bottles in my wood stove, I get every drop that remains. ;)

Harbor Freight sells a funnel that holds six inverted one quart containers at once. I'd probably get one but I buy my oil in drums and use the same graduated one gallon container over and over, doesn't matter if I get every last drop out.

Its great to see people taking care of the enviroment.

Now those are real patriots,taking care of our precious land, they don't need the government to tell them what to do.
