getting rid of factory electric heated mirrors

I will be getting my new CIPA mirrors from Geno's this week and am thinking about selling off the factory electric/heated. Seems I am seeing alot of guys wanting to upgrade the old silver ones to the black ones on their 94-97 trucks. I figure a little token money towards the CIPA's would be nice, but would let them go pretty cheap to a fellow TDR member. Any ideas what I should ask? I would like to be able to throw up an ad in the classifieds and hopefully have them gone fast as I will be packing up to move back to South Dakota in a few weeks and the less I have to haul the better.



Also anyone with any tips on the install of the CIPA's? from what I found doing searches it sounds like the newer designs have mostly eliminated the vibration issues some talked about but I did see a few mention about making sure some cardboard spacer pieces were taken out before install. Just want to make sure I do it right the first time and not have to redo it.

Vibration

Make sure that your mirrors are OK right out of the box. I ordered mine from JC Whitney and when I got them one of the mirrors was completely out of the housing... should have sent them back but I just put the mirror back in the housing.

Mine have started to vibrate worse than they did when I got them, sent an email to customer service and never heard a word from them

Seems to be the norm these days... send us your money then your on your own!

just got done converting my tow mirrors on my 02 to power heated hahaha so i have 2 tow mirrors for a 03 and new that are not heated or power if ya no anyone interested?
