I bought my 1996 Dodge 3500 dually new. It looks and runs better than new. I have done a lot to it over the years and the old Dynomite Diesel in Monroe, WA dyno tested it at 425 hp years ago. We're about 150 miles short of 200,000 miles. Most of those miles were pulling a trailer which got heavier every time we bought a new one. A long time ago, I installed the Volant Diesel oiled 5151 air filter and housing. I have faithfully cleaned and oiled the filter. (I then gave the old housing away). The truck has never been driven on a dirt road. Three years ago, my wife advised me she was not going to camp any more - only hotels or B&Bs. (You could hardly call our Carriage with FWS "camping", at least thats my opinion). However, I have really gotten tired of servicing this filter. So, I want to go back to a paper filter. Any suggestions for accomplishing this transition would be appreciated.

Your engine will likely be happier this way.
I saw a few on eBay and CL, didn't check in to new parts. Personally I'd begin with wrecking yards, maybe use aftermarket hoses for the intake tube since those could be crusty by now.

Appreciate your answer. After checking with a number of dealers, I decided to call Banks. Have dealt. with them in the past. Bought a real neat dry filter and box. Also, they were the only seller who had it in stock. So this thread can be closed. Take care, Mike
