Getting screwed by high fuel prices, now Walmart.

First we got screwed with the price of fuel now Walmart wants to screw really screw us. I was there today and purchased a gall of power Service and was really surprised by how much they raised there price on the stuff. The last time I bought it, it was like $9. 99 a gallon, now its $11. 99 a gallon, and yes I was asked if I was over the age of 18 also.

Are the prices of all fuel additives up?

walmart may have been selling on the low margin side or the price went up, but watch for the napa winter sales brochure for the bib rig stuff.

Last year I stocked up when Napa offered the 96 0z gray or white bottles for 7. 99

just a heads up :)

Prices

I believe the PS at Walmart's around here has the 96oz for around $11. 48 an I think it's been that price for quite awhile. Just recently started using it.

I have also been watching the Delo 400 oil price too. Yesterday still $6. 42 a gallon here at local Walmart, but noticed it up in price at the O'Rielly's Auto Parts where I was buying it.

Fuel additives are also petroleum products. Oil prices up = fuel additives up. Stay tuned; oil is used in plastics, pharmacuticals, fertilizers, cosmetics, etc.

I've heard that the department manager's have some control of their pricing in order to remain competitive in their market. Here in Phoenix, I've seen different pricing on the same item at different stores. When I asked "why?" , that was the explanation given to me. Hope this helps. Joe F. (Buffalo).

I work at a polymers plant and we do use a patroleum based product but the killer for our plant are flame bars that burn excessive amounts of gas along with the heating bill for the plant about $100,000 a year... . I think ,,,,Im sure that the petro prices will effect every thing we buy one way or another atleast the shipping part.

I still think washington needs to step in and regulate petro coast to coast.
