2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Getting the Drivers door back on

1995 2500 Stock
I removed the lower Driver Door hinge to change bushings.
I can't get the lower hinge installed??
Would it go together easier if I removed the door? Install the lower hinge on the door then install the other half of the hinge to door post.
Then slide the door on the hinges then install the pins??

I found in here where somebody set his door on a stand so I made one. THE ONLY WAY TO GO. Ligned up and on in an hour.
