Competition getting tst box

all right, with all the good info i'm going to buy a tst box. i guess my next ? is what is the highest power level i can safely run? i have taken my stock air box and removed baffle,removed silencer ring on turbo. i have removed my kitty and replaced the stock muffler with a magnaflow muffler. the truck is a real pig now. more air in and out,no more fuel added, could this be my problem?



tst is out of stock on the box till next week.



is the truck safe to drive if it is lean because of these mods?

going to buy box with pyro and boost gauge in unit. are these

With no fuel box, you are really still stock.

So you are safe for now.

I would advise buying the TST box with the digital gauges.



I would also advise buying at least an AFE drop-in or the AFE intake for your 04. 5 truck.

You should be safe running 5x5 on the street, if not a little more.



I pulled on level 7x6 with a stock turbo. I was also stacked with a *censored box. Needless to say the truck ran very well.

The auto won't handle anything above about 4/3 settings. The convertor tends to slip at a lower rpm like when you're in od running about 55 mph and you mash the throttle down but not hard enough to kick it down to 3rd, that's when you will feel the transmission slip. A freind of mine has one in his truck and likes it but now he's lookin at a DTT transmission upgrade.
