Getting water pump free from engine?

I removed the two bolts that hold the water pump but it doesn't want to budge any suggestions?

if you can tap it with a rubber mallet... .

yea use a mallet, its common to sorta stick to block.

its only an o ring but it will stick pretty decent.

Yea, what they said. Also check to make sure you took out the right bolt on the top side. While my hand is in there, I can't see, and half the time have taken out the one about a half inch to the right of the one I want.

How are you going to hit that thing with a rubber mallet? Use a stick, dowel or broom handle as an extension and hit it with a 4lb drilling hammer. Anything you can fix with a 4lb drilling is a good thing. Light taps will do,
