Just pull on the scales and make sure that each unit is on it on scale and stand up on the back of you truck and talk to the lady or man and take them 7 or 8 dollors and you are done.

Not much to it.

Pull into the truck stop, if you have a cb then call in on the posted channel and they will tell you what to do. If you do not have a cb then go into the fuel desk, tell them you are an rv'er and would like get weighed, they will tell you what to do. Most moving companys also have certified scales and let the public on them.

Both correct

John, some places have CB and others have a two way intercom at the scales with a buton to signal them ya wann talk. bg

John,

I know you didn't ask about this, but for what it's worth, you can get your unit weighed for a lot less at other places. All gravel/concrete suppliers have scales, as do all farm feed stores. I'll bet that you can find one near you.

I have never been charged at all to weigh each axle on my truck/trailer combination at our local feed store. They always ask if I need a slip, or just want the weight. I have always just asked for the weight. I guess that they might have charged me if I needed a piece of paper.

Happy hunting.

What Loren said.

The feed store I use has there drive on scales located outside the fence. We can weigh anytime and the salesmen at the front counter really doesn't care.
