Give me my key!

Key stuck in ignition. Unable to get key to park/lock position for removal. Jammed column shifter to park, no help. Key lock cylinder removed and replaced with OEM from dealership keyed to VIN. Still unable to remove. Truck starts and turns off no problem. Ignition switch removed. Lock cylinder and ignition switch work great when not in the steering column. Everything lines up on install. Problem seems to be in the steering column itself. Any advise or previous thread with same problem would be appreciated.
