Finally installed my borgeson steering shaft on my '92, one of the best upgrades I've done! Why did I wait soo long?



Found the best punch for getting that rollpin out of the steering couple, save one of those V8 pushrods you have lying around, fits perfectly!

I got news for you guys. The stock joint is better than the Borgeson. . There is an improved boot that looks like a cv joint boot This boot solves the wear problems that the stock had. The road grit gets into the Borgeson u joint and ruins it the same way it ruined the stock joint.

I'll never go back to that stock joint, can't even get the bucket joint new anymore once it's worn out, just putting new blocks in a worn bucket joint won't solve the problem. I haven't seen a '94 up ram that has this type of setup factory like the borgeson units that has worn out. And if they wear out that quick, borgeson has a 5yr 50K warranty on those things. A great upgrade!
