I was unhooking my 5er at the dealer today, and some guy came up to me and started asking Cummins Questions (we all love that part).

He had just been inside and said "the salesman said I would need to switch my 98 12V auto 4wd from 3:55 to 4:10 if I wanted to tow this 30', single slide camper we just fell in love with, what rear is in yours?"

I told him 3:55, and that I had a 5 speed, in fact when towing my 10,000 lbs, you can forget its even there at highway speeds, no problem towing 65 MPH in the PA hills. The most fun part is looking for Power Smokes
towing on the PA hills! he was loving it,

Then he started looking over my 5er and saw it was 2 slides, much heaver then what he was looking at, we decided his 3:55 auto could tow the camper he wanted with no problem.

I told him when parking, he could use 4 low, how much HP a little piece of metal could add (12V) and told him about TDR. He don't have a computer, but I think he now wants one just to view TDR!

Good job. I think you and the tdr know more than that salesman.
