I have an 01 CTD and am getting ready, or thinking about putting a Glacier -392 on the truck. My question is; for you guys out there with them on yours, is the pump quieter than a stock pump? I called Glacier and they said its about the same as stock or more quiet. I've heard it both ways. Just would like all your too cents. . I'm going to shy away from the stock LP because they are alittle to unreliable for me. I just did a little injector uprade but nothing major and my fuel pressure is around 11psi at idle and about 6-7 at highway speed. (65-75mph) Also had the LP checked before the filter and thru the filter with 1. 5 loss in pressure thru the filter. The LP is working OK as per the mech. & my gauge reads 1-2psi low ... . just wondering about the Glacier pumps, Thanks Brian

I just installed mine, and I really am impressed. I'm going to say it's a little more quiet, but the kit is very complete, and professional. I'm glad I went that route.

Big A

I've had mine for about 9 months now. I don't even notice it, unless I intentionally bump the starter. Even then, it's quieter than the OEM. Rock solid pressure. I put Glacier's big lines all the way from the tank to the VP44.

I have the same setup as DMannon does and am very impressed with this setup. Very rock solid system with constant pressure. And i can't here to much of anything from inside my cab anyway. :D
