got it in last night, and so far i am happy with it. seems like solid fuel pressures pretty consistently around 15 psi, which i am happy with. just want to make sure something isnt wrong because i've heard of guys with the same walbro getting 20+ psi. maybe i have a guage problem? i am using a mechanical w/isolater, and i'm not sure i trust it.

telliott,

I also just installed the same kit on basically the same truck as yours about 3 weeks ago. I run a Westech electrical FP guage and mine runs consistently between 14-15 psi. It doesn't appear to drop more than 1/2 psi under WOT. I was also nervous about the pressure because of what I have read here, but all seems well.

Fuel pressure

I installed my set up about 1 month ago and so far 19 psi idle and 17WTO
Mike 202 4X4 , 4 inch dual exhaust, Glacier LP, Hyperteck Stage 3 chip, fuel pressure guage and more to come

I installed mine last summer and it idles aroune 18psi and I can't seem to pull it down below 16psi. Very happy with it so far.

You should try and get the pressure down closer to 15 at idle unless you want the diaphragm in the VP to crack and cause hard starts and eventually kill the VP. Just my . 02.
