Well after being a Dodge owner for 6 years I decided to give the other guys a shot (Ford) I purchased a 2002 Lariat Crew-cab and have to say it was a beautiful truck but after owning it for 4 months I have sunk $1800 into it (new front hubs, ball joints, 2 new batteries taken out by a bad alternator) :{ with only 22000 miles on it So That was the last straw. Anyhow to make a long story short I purchased a 2005 CC SLT today and will take delivery on Monday and I have to admit I feel like I'm back home from a bad vaction. So I look forward to reading and learning all about this new truck from you guys as I have for my past three Dodge Diesels!! Oo.

Congratulations on your new truck! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine. I noticed your location is Montgomery; Is that Montgomery, Alabama?

Well, my signature doesn't show it (I was too embarassed to ever admit it), but I had a F*** in between my two Dodges. I had a transmission go in 30,000 miles, numerous recalls, radios quit, etc. I was also forced ( :-laf ) to buy an auto! (I'm I dyed in the wool manaul transmission guy from waaaaaay back). Didn't like the ZF pattern.

Anyway, I'm glad to be back, too. 15 months and ~30,000 miles glad!

Welcome home!

Juan
