glass busted in 03 trailer tow mirrow

Has anyone changed glass in trailer tow mirrow? I was 2/3 across county road bridge when farmer jones came flying around curve and on to bridge, i moved over as far as i could but both drivers side mirrows smacked. Other truck was psd with trailer tow mirrows, impact broke glass from mirrow and rotated into drivers side window cracking it. my mirrow cracked but stayed in housing. Even dodge tt mirrows are tougher than fords. Is the glass easy to remove from housing? thanks, JIM.

Yes I have broke mine also. Dodge wanted like 250. 00 for the whole mirror. I went to the local auto glass dealer and they ordered just the glass replacement from www.burcoinc.com
