Glass Cleaner

Has anyone found a good glass cleaner to clean off the haze that seems to buildup on the inside of the windshield?

I just used Windex and it works fine.

The haze is due to off-gasing from the plastics in the cab. Its a lot worse in the summer heat. This is common on all new vehicles. Might want to keep a window cracked open. Part of that great "new car smell" are toxic chemicals from the plastics. #ad
I always drive the first mile with the window down to air the cab out, and don't use the "Max" A/C position (recirculates the air). Takes almost a year for the plastics to stop this annoying habit.

Just got my 2001 2500 QC, SB, 4x4, ETH 6-sp, 3. 54 LSD, SLT++ (everything but those lights on top of the roof), White over Silver, Tan leather. Picked it up 8/31/00.

Try the Eagle 20/20. Works good and is supposed to be safe for tint. Been using it for about 3 yrs now. Leaves a pseudo-RainX finish on outside glass. I guess it would have the same effect on the inside but I haven't spilled anything on the inside glass yet.

The best tip about window cleaning I ever learned is to use newspaper. any cleaner works got with newspaper. The newspaper cleans well and leaves no streaks.

Try using window cleaner in an aerosol can if you can find some. Use and old T shirt or towel to polish. Windows come out spotless and streak free. NAPA carries window cleaner in aerosol cans. It is sometimes hard to find.

Ditto that on the newspaper,I was told it has something to do with the ink. I bought a spray bottle of Rain-X window cleaner at an auto parts because it was all they had,now it's the only kind I'll use. It keeps the haze and fogging away.

Here's how I clean my windows: get my wet fake-chamois (the same one that I use to dry the truck) and wipe the inside of the window down. Then, I use a squeegee to wipe the inside of the window.

Voila. No bad chemicals, no spraying mess, and the window is as clean as when it was new.

Larry,I live in the other Washington where it rains 1/4" twice a year and my windows still get dirty,if I lived on your side I'd figure the rain is enough to keep the windows clean.

Try a product called Glass Wax if that doesnt do it nothing will

I use the ol' tried and true Spray Away.

I use Rain-X glass cleaner or I use their windsheild washer soultion and dilute it to make glass cleaner. Windex always streaked on me which was really annoying at night when an on coming car's lights hit your windshield.
