Glass roof

M friend just picked up his new 05 and went to put a mag mount antenna on the roof and found it was figerglass anyone know anything about a glass body or roof. Ski

Magnets stick to mine. It also attracts bird droppings, sap, etc. Everything sticks to sap.



Maybe he got a pimped out vinyl top that was meant for a new 300C?

I would check it out for bondo. It could have been damaged and repaired.

I have a magnetic phone antenna on my 05 roof

Mine sticks just fine. But it is not a good idea to leave it on the roof, especially if it has mositure under it. It will leave a white ring on the roof. I am making rod that will clamp into the bed post hole. It will have welded plate on top for the antenna to stick to.

I have been looiking for that type of mount. If you make any extra I would be interested in purchasing a set if it fits in the bed pocket, ie I can remove antenna and be able to install a topper.
