Global Warming

If anyone has a big SUV or Diesel truck, could you please go out and start it, and let it run for a few days. This Global Warming thing is not working. This is the third day in a row that I got up and it was 3 degrees out. That is Fahrenheit not Celsius. It’s -16 Celsius.

Maybe we should get Al Gore to turn on his "environmentally friendly green house" I hear it consumes more electricity and has a bigger carbon footprint than a conventional house.

Remember when the CEO's of the BIG 3 had to go before congress and got flamed for flying up there in private jets????...

What about a few weeks ago when the "Global Warming Summit" happened and EVERY idiot that attended had to be flown in on a private jet, then hauled one at a time in private limos, while being escorted by 10 armored Suburbans... ... .

Don't those Limos have more than one seat???. . Or how about throwing them in the dang Suburban since ITS the one thats armored!...

Do you call it hypocracy, irony, or just plain STUPID!!!. . Sad part is, THESE are the people playing with OUR money and OUR lives...

What little climate change that is occuring is a natural occurance... the rest of these "facts" are manufactured by less than honest politicians.

Sorry for all the cold weather you're having in your neck of the woods. I do accept full responsibility. The whole global warming issue really has me worried. So, I've spent the last year throwing a couple of ice cubes from my refrigerator out into the back yard to do my part to try to cool the world off. I've also asked my wife to open the car windows just a crack for a few minutes whenever she turns the a/c on.

The National Weather Service published a statement yesterday about the Chicago area having the fewest number of winter days over 40* in over 100 years (something like two instead of the average 20-something).



I untapped my Comp at the beginning of the winter.

Haven't heard anything from Gore (not that I'm listening anyway) since he announced that it's "millions of degrees" just 2 kilometers below the Earth's surface.

Was watching Life after People on the History channel. They said that right after 9/11 when all air traffic was grounded that average temps when up a degree or 2. some scientist claimed it was because the contrails served as cloud cover and kept the US cooler... I know a few days data isn't very good but it was interesting non the less

Don't believe everyting you see on the History Channel. On a recent program, they referred to Levittown NY as having been constructed with prefab houses in the '50's. Those 17,000 homes were stick built. I also understand their upcoming segment on JFK takes a lot of liberty in changing history.

I looked it up, there was a group of American scientists who made the claim. but as stated 3 days worth of data is about useless when it comes to these things
