I'll be there, but my truck is still apart. :{
I scouted the campground last weekend, (I'm about 5 miles away), and it's not much in the way of a campground... The grounds are nice, but all the best spots are taken by what appear to be travel trailers that are built in and added on to. Don't get me wrong, it looks like a nice little community/weekend place, but there were only (from what I saw) about 6-8 spots that would be open for trailers. Plenty of tent space but the tent area is a ways from showers and the "lake". It's no wonder the place "fills up fast" since 80-90% of the spots are permanently taken.
Just wanted to give you a heads up. It IS the closest place (about a mile) to the dragway, but not a great place to go camping for the sake of camping... If you are looking for a nice place to camp I would recommend Yankee Springs over near Gun Lake, which is probably 15-20 minutes NE of Martin (where the dragway is).
For those that have never been to the dragway, it is exit 55 off of US 131, and is about a mile south on a side road running along the west side of US 131. If you are coming from the south, you will be able to see it from the expressway before you exit. Hope this helps...
